उसके माता और पिता मुम्बई के रहने वाले हैं ! लेकिन वह आस्टरेलिया पैदा हुआ है तो इसलिये उसको हिंदी नहीं आती थी !
वह बनारस में सिर्फ दो हफ्ते के लिए था, इसलिए हर दिन दो घंटे सीख रहा था !
Anna Nies is a German student and friend who has been coming to Varanasi for past three years to just study Hindi.
Every year she does intensive Hindi course three hours of instructions every day. This time I arranged accommodation for her in hotel Haifa however she was very much interested in staying in hotel Ganges view but they were sold out of that particular date.
As it is my outside Hindi instruction to watch Hindi film together with student and student try to give the summary what is going on in the film.
She did this outside Hindi instruction course and she learnt Hindi for two weeks.
June is the student of Anthropology from Australia .she came to Varanasi to learn about the children Parliament in Varanasi and also for learning Hindi.She was staying in Ganpati Guest House in old city of Varanasi.
She was in Varanasi for two weeks and taking two hours of Hindi lessons everyday.One day during the class she told me that she wanted to visit NGO Bharat Vikas sansthan in sigara area.she was struggling to get clue for this NGO. however she had a little idea about this NGO.
I had allready taken some students at this NGO in past so I know the founder Rajeev Srivastav of this NGO. I called him and took appointment for her .Next day we went to Bharat Vikas Sanshthan where she met the Rajeev Srivastav and other staff.
She had seen on the television in Australia about children parliament election so she was very much interested in talking in Details about this organization.we sat there for a while and had a nice talking with children.The elected member of parliament was on internet.
Meanwhile I had to go to mountain with Bridge Year Princeton Programme so I could not continue with her but she used to come to meet my wife for reviewing Hindi what he learnt with me .
Atila and Dora is a couple from Budapest capital of Hungary .Atila had already been to varanasi last year in the month of November.This year both came in the month of March and started learning Hindi.
They were staying at my friend place in Bhadaini. Atila and his wife both were doing volunteering work with Loksamati in Mehdiganj .This is a NGO working against cocoloa company for the welfare of the villagers.
Atila was teaching Emglish for the children in Loksameeti’s school and Dora was assisting him in making lesson plan.
They were very flexible with timings and we used to meet five days in week for thelesson .in the beginning they were learning just to speak but later on they also started learning Hindi script.however they had taken few lesson in Budapest before coming to varanasi.
They were here for five months up to July mean while my sister was getting married therefore I had to go to my village for the weddings.so I could not continue teaching them and they were also spending time by visiting different parts of India.
Anna is from Germany and she came in contact with me through my blog, as she was very much interested in Indian bollywood movies and She said that she could understand the recent ones better than the old ones.as new bollywood movie are having conversation in English.
She was interested for intensive course as she had a very less time in Varanasi she was just here for three weeks.she was doing four hours of intensive Hindi class.since she is old so i told that i can come to your hotel for having the class.She decided to meet for two hrs with me and another two hours with my wife so that she gets the opportunity too talk with Indian women at my place and she was trying to have conversation with my neighbor.
One day she told me that she wanted to have her class on boat therefore I called my boatman we had boat ride on river Ganges with my wife ,son and my sister.it was festive mood at the assi ghat as one of the celebration of den kashi mahotsav and she wanted to see the one of most famous singer of bhojpuri language Manoj Tiwary ,hotels staff has told her about him.we went to gathering it was over crowded and we were there untill he came.I translated for her as the song was in bhojpuri .
At the weekend we all together went to see the movie kurban as it was the part of Hindi course she tried to give the summary of movie .what was movie all about and what was the story.
In the three weeks she improved a lot and I really appreciate her learning skill.in the beginning did a crash course and later on we were just reviewing .it was great experience with her.
Hi Everyone It is my first opportunity that I am teaching a Hungarian student.his name is Adom wesp from the capitol city of Budapest.The day when he called me I was so busy therefore I could not meet him and we decided to meet next following day.as he is new comer in varanasi so he could not come directly at my place .
Our first meeting was in vatika cafe near assi ghat and we decided to have class .as his stay was not for longer period in Varanasi.so he asked me if i have time three to four hrs in a day Monday through Saturday. he is doing pretty well and he is very much interested in leaning writing and reading the Hindi.
I recommended teach your self Hindi book of Rupert Snell for reading and writing.now he can read Hindi well but he is slow in writing.he is just here for two and half week.tomorrow he is going to khajuraho.
Stephanie Abbot is staying in Bal Ashram in samne gaht and volunteering in little star school in nagwa ,Varanasi.she came to varanasi in the month of January and since that time she is working for the school children there.she admits that being the native speaker of English it was a great challenge for her to communicate with children.then she got motivation to learn Hindi.she contacted me through the Bantu Bhaya who is the programme coordinator for the where there be Dragons.as I teach there.I began to teach her Hindi.she learnt quite a lot of stuff and she began to handle the students nicely.
My guruji Virendra ji introduced me to Rishi sidhu who is non residents of India and at present he is living in Boston in America .Since he is studying international development particular for India.He came to Varanasi on 14Th of January for learning Hindi all though he has already studied Hindi by himself and in Mussoorie .He is taking every day one hour lesson .in his learning he translates lyrics of Bollywood movie song and make conversation on issues in India,culture,poverty and education.
Patricia Om shanti came to Varanasi from Bunes Airs, the capital city of Argentina. She is the follower of Swami Ramanand who is a great saint of Kerala. As she came to Varanasi for pilgrimage, she is very keen to recite Bhajan and chanting Mantras. Therefore she was learning some Bhajan at Dashashwamedh ghat (main ghat) with a artist who used to sing for the daily evening Aarti in an organization of Babu Maharaj, President of Gangotri Seva Samiti. Babu Maharaj introduced me with her as she has motivation to learn Hindi. She has very less time just two and a half week so she opted for intensive crash course. She used to learn two hours everyday. As her mother tongue was Spanish but she did well in Hindi and could speak basic Hindi.
